Half Mask Wearing and Airtightness Check

Step 1: Pre-Wear Inspection

Before wearing, fully loosen the headband and neck strap.

Step 2: Wearing the Mask

Place the mask over your nose and mouth, then pull the headband over your forehead and position it at the upper back of your head.

Step 3: Headband Adjustment

Wrap the neck strap around your neck and fasten the buckle. Simultaneously pull both upper headband adjustment straps to tighten as needed. The neck strap adjustment should be done at the back of the neck in the same manner as the headband.

Step 4: Neck Strap Adjustment

Adjust the headband and neck strap for a secure and comfortable fit between the mask and your face. If the straps are too tight, push the plastic fastening clips outward to loosen them.

Step 5: Positive Pressure Airtightness Test

Cover the exhalation valve outlet with your palm and exhale slowly. The mask should slightly expand, and no air should leak from the sealing area between the mask and your face.

Step 6: Negative Pressure Airtightness Test

Cover the air inlet of the filter cartridge (or filter canister) with your palm and inhale. The mask should slightly collapse and maintain the seal without any air leakage at the contact points.
