The Requirements for Wearing and Marking Safety Helmets

Wearing a Safety Helmet

Before wearing a safety helmet, carefully inspect the certification, usage instructions, and expiration date. Adjust the harness size to ensure a space of 20-50 millimeters between the top of the harness and the inner shell. This space creates an energy-absorbing system that distributes impact forces across the entire skull area, thereby reducing head injuries.

Safety Helmet Labeling Requirements

① Permanent markings, including engraved, stitched, riveted, molded, or embossed labels on the shell, must include: standard code, manufacturer’s name, production date, product name, and any special technical specifications (if applicable).

② Product instructions: Declarations (precautions), manufacturer’s name, address, contact information, compliance certification, applicable and non-applicable environments, suitable head circumference, disposal criteria, warranty period, and guidance on adjustment, assembly, usage, cleaning, disinfection, maintenance, storage, and care.

③ Labor safety certification marks and Industrial Production License (QS Mark).
